Francesca Giannoni-Crystal to Speak on Data Privacy in Space and Under the Sea
Tomorrow, October 30, 2026, Francesca Giannoni-Crystal will present a webinar for the Beverly Hills Bar Association titled “The Final Frontier of Data Privacy: Servers in Space and at Sea.”
The program will explore the emerging use of data centers in outer space and underwater, focusing on the legal challenges these unconventional locations pose for privacy and data protection. Particular attention will be given to the territorial application of the GDPR, U.S. privacy laws, and the interaction between data protection rules and international space and maritime law.
